I have recently received this scarf and already wear it all the time. It's not quite as dark red in person as it looks on the website. I would call it a dark canyon rusty-red. I was hoping there would be a bit more burgundy in it, but there aree a lot of ways to show it off and get the different reds to pop! It's handrolled, which for this price is unheard of! Very happy with my purchase. My look is already more elevated following your suggestions!
I have a *much* more expensive scarf that feels as luxurious as the Mari and has equally rich and pretty colors. Honestly, though, the designs and color combinations of the two scarves I’ve purchased from Haelix Designs have more beautiful designs than my crazy-pricy French scarf and are more flexible. For the Mari, you can fold it one way and you get a bright, warmish red with some white from a flower. Fold it another way and it’s a richer, cooler, moodier red with a hint a green leaves. I bought them on a whim because I like the designer on her YouTube channel, but now I just want more of these wearable art pieces.
